“After the impracticalities of the WLC, as quickly as I had my first royalty cheque I bought a Triumph, I feel it was the T160, which was a Trident after which I bought a collection of Bonnevilles”, Burnel stated. 

“Other than a five-year interval the place I bought a Sportster Harley, after they began getting a bit higher, I’ve caught to Triumph for 40-odd years.

“Now I’ve bought three Triumphs. I’ve bought a 1960 Trident which is a T120 in a featherbed body, then I’ve bought an RS Dash and it’s a brute of a machine, in 2004 they discontinued that specific mannequin. It’s 130 horsepower, bought no ABS, bought no traction management, it’s scary, however it’s nice!

“Then I bought a Thruxton R about six years in the past, which is a beautiful ‘torquey’ good sounding machine.”
